Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process your personal data (last name, first name, email address, as well as information regarding your participation and, if applicable, dietary restrictions) for the purpose of organizing and conducting the seminar. The legal basis for this processing is the implementation of pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
Photography during the event
Photographs will be taken during the event. These photographs will be used for public relations and to promote our company, specifically for publication on our company page on LinkedIn. The photos will be published on our company page on LinkedIn. It cannot be ruled out that your personal data may also be processed by LinkedIn in countries outside the European Union, particularly in the United States. We have no control over further data processing by LinkedIn. The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. If the photographs allow inferences to be drawn regarding special categories of personal data, the processing is additionally based on Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR. Consent is voluntary and may be revoked at any time with future effect. The photographs taken during the event will be stored for the duration of their use for public relations purposes. In principle, they will be stored for as long as the photographs are used for their intended purposes and no notice of revocation has been received. If you withdraw your consent, the relevant photographs will be immediately removed from future publications and—to the extent possible—deleted. However, publications that have already been made, particularly on the Internet or on social media, may not be able to be completely undone under certain circumstances.
Recipients of Your Data
Your data will only be shared to the extent necessary to carry out the event (e.g., with service providers responsible for organization or catering).
How long will we retain your data?
Your data will be stored only as long as necessary for conducting the seminar and handling the subsequent administrative tasks. Data will not be stored beyond this period unless required by statutory retention obligations.
Your Rights
You have the right of access under Article 15 of the GDPR, the right to rectification under Article 16 of the GDPR, the right to erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Article 18 of the GDPR, and the right to data portability under Article 20 of the GDPR. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority of your choice.
