Maximilian Ritz promoted to Head of Wholesale at EB-SIM

Maximilian Ritz has more than ten years of experience in capital markets and sales and is to further expand EB-SIM's sales channel as Head of Wholesale.

Kassel, January 10, 2024: Maximilian Ritz, previously Sales Manager at EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM), has been promoted to Head of Wholesale. He joined the sustainable asset manager in 2021 and will further expand the sales channel.

EB-SIM offers its retail funds to private investors via other banks and financial service providers via the wholesale channel. The 36-year-old Maximilian Ritz now leads a team of four colleagues that he himself helped to build up. Maximilian Ritz is one of the founders and protagonists of the successful podcast “Impact Buddies”. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and has more than ten years of experience in the capital market and sales sectors – including professional positions at a large German financial sales company and an independent Swiss asset manager.

“By expanding the wholesale business, we want to continue our uninterrupted growth trajectory since the spin-off from Evangelische Bank five years ago. I am delighted that with Maximilian Ritz we are able to transfer this responsible task to a competent colleague from our own ranks,” says Michael Hepers, Managing Director and CCO of EB-SIM.

EB-SIM initiated the wholesale channel in May 2021 as part of its growth ambitions. Maximilian Ritz has been part of the team from the very beginning and has contributed to its success to date.
