Sebastian Kösters appointed to the Management Board of EB-SIM

EB - Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM) is reorganizing its management board. Effective October 12, 2025, Sebastian Kösters, the company's long-standing Chief Investment Officer, will be appointed to the management board. Together with Dr. Bernhard Graeber, Managing Director and Head of Alternative Assets, he will be jointly responsible for the strategic direction of EB-SIM.

  • Experienced Chief Investment Officer with extensive expertise in multi-asset strategies and sustainable investments
  • Personnel realignment strengthens EB-SIM’s strategic development and investment expertise
  • Entry into the management as of October 12, 2025

Sebastian Kösters has been working for Evangelische Bank in various roles since 2017 and has been part of EB-SIM since the spin-off in 2018. He has extensive experience in the strategic and tactical management of multi-asset portfolios, is an expert in sustainable investments and has taken on increasing responsibility in various management positions since EB-SIM was founded. As Chief Investment Officer, he is currently responsible for the investment strategy in liquid portfolio management and the asset allocation of the client assets under management. He also manages EB – Multi-Asset Conservative, EB-SIM’s flagship fund. With around EUR 1.5 billion in assets under management in multi-asset strategies, Kösters is one of the company’s key figures. In total, EB-SIM manages over six billion euros.

“Sebastian Kösters not only stands for continuity. He combines a high level of technical expertise with a deep understanding of our customers and the strategic development of EB-SIM. Thanks to his many years of experience, he is the ideal candidate for this position. We look forward to working with him to further expand the sustainable investment expertise of EB-SIM and thus the EB Group,” emphasizes Joachim Fröhlich, member of the Management Board of Evangelische Bank eG and shareholder representative at EB-SIM.

The search for a suitable successor to Christoph Glatzel, Chief Operating and Chief Risk Officer, who is expected to leave the company at the end of the year as previously announced, is also well advanced.
