Our company is based at three locations: in Kassel, Frankfurt and Cologne. It is divided into five divisions: Sales & Marketing, Risk Management & Operations, Liquid Assets, Alternative Assets and Sustainability & Strategy. The close cooperation and open communication between our teams ensures that we can offer our clients the best possible investment strategies and solutions.

Teams

Our sales team is not just about numbers and products. It cultivates social relationships and builds sustainable partnerships. It works closely with portfolio and product managers as well as risk management so that we can offer our customers tailor-made solutions. Our product and portfolio managers work together to develop flexible product strategies. Our marketing team takes care of the external presentation of EB-SIM through the website, social media, editorial contributions, brochures and advertisements.

The Alternative Assets team is driving the expansion of renewable energies and the energy transition in Europe. Our investment managers identify, review and close first-class investment projects. They manage transactions in various sectors, technologies and investment types. The team has its finger on the pulse and is always on the lookout for new trends and promising deals. An experienced team with commercial and technical expertise for active portfolio and risk management oversees the projects in the portfolio.

Our liquid portfolio management team manages a variety of multi-asset, equity and bond strategies as well as client mandates. Together with our clients, it develops customized investment strategies and makes well-founded decisions for their portfolios. The Quantitative Strategies team supports our experienced portfolio managers in Multi Asset, Equities and Fixed Income in their work. Our investment decisions integrate traditional company analysis with quantitative, qualitative and ESG criteria to achieve a double return: financial success and sustainability!

In our Sustainability & Strategy division, we combine our conviction for sustainable investing with strategic vision.

Our team ensures the consistent integration of sustainability criteria into all investment decisions and drives sustainable development through commitment.

At the same time, we shape the long-term direction of EB-SIM and consolidate its position as a leading sustainable asset manager.

Our Risk Management & Operations team ensures that we meet all (regulatory) legal requirements – from company level through to customer relationships. This includes notification and reporting, investment and risk controlling as well as compliance functions. From MaRisk and WpHG to ESG, it has everything in view! Operationally, the team manages IT and is responsible for many other processes such as personnel administration and outsourcing management. As a problem solver and supporter of the specialist departments, it is actively involved in process and project management. The colleagues are the point of contact for internal and external audits.

Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board, made up of high-ranking representatives from the investment industry, academia and NGOs, plays a key role in the ongoing development of EB-SIM. Thanks to their expertise, new scientific findings are always incorporated into our investment process.

The Advisory Board supports us in mastering regulatory, technical and competitive challenges and always keeping our finger on the pulse. We pay particular attention to further developing our innovative, sustainable investment processes to ensure that our stock selection meets high standards.

The Advisory Board also helps to shape our product range and ensures that we operate successfully in a dynamic market environment.
