Our company is headquartered at three locations: Kassel, Frankfurt, and Cologne. It is organized into five divisions: Sales & Marketing, Risk Management & Operations, Liquid Assets, Real Assets, and Sustainability & Strategy. The close collaboration and open communication among our teams ensure that we can offer our clients the best possible investment strategies and solutions.
Teams
Our sales team isn’t just all about numbers and products. It fosters social relationships and builds long-term partnerships.
To ensure we can offer our customers tailored solutions, it works closely with portfolio and product managers as well as the risk management team.
Our product and portfolio managers work together to develop flexible product strategies.
Our marketing team manages EB-SIM’s public image through the website, social media, editorial articles, brochures, and advertisements.
The Real Assets team invests in renewable energy projects in Europe. Our investment managers identify, evaluate, and finalize top-tier investment projects.
They manage transactions across various sectors, technologies, and investment types. The team stays on the cutting edge and is always on the lookout for new trends and promising deals.
An experienced team with business and technical expertise in active portfolio and risk management oversees the projects in the portfolio.
Our liquid portfolio management team manages a wide range of multi-asset, equity, and fixed-income strategies, as well as client portfolios. Working closely with our clients, the team develops customized investment strategies and makes well-informed decisions for their portfolios.
The Quantitative Strategies team supports our experienced portfolio managers in the Multi-Asset, Equities, and Fixed Income divisions in their work.
Our investment decisions combine traditional company analysis with quantitative, qualitative, and ESG criteria to incorporate both financial and sustainability-related factors into our valuation.
In our Sustainability & Strategy division, we combine sustainability considerations with strategic foresight.
Our team ensures that sustainability criteria are consistently integrated into all investment decisions and conducts engagement activities with companies.
At the same time, we shape EB-SIM’s long-term direction and strengthen its position in the market for responsible investments.
Our Risk Management & Operations team ensures that we meet all regulatory and legal requirements—from the corporate level all the way down to customer relationships. This includes reporting and disclosure, investment and risk controlling, as well as compliance functions. From MaRisk to the WpHG to ESG, it keeps an eye on everything!
The team manages IT operations and is responsible for many other processes, such as human resources administration and outsourcing management.
As a problem-solver and support for the various departments, it is actively involved in process and project management. Its staff members serve as points of contact for internal and external audits.
Advisory Board
Our Advisory Board, made up of high-ranking representatives from the investment industry, academia and NGOs, plays a key role in the ongoing development of EB-SIM. Thanks to their expertise, new scientific findings are always incorporated into our investment process.
The Advisory Board helps us overcome regulatory, technical, and competitive challenges and stay on the cutting edge. We place particular emphasis on further developing our investment processes to ensure that our security selection meets high standards.
The Advisory Board also helps to shape our product range and ensures that we operate successfully in a dynamic market environment.
